		<description>Thanks, this was exactly the problem with mine as well.  I just pushed the white shell back towards the bend in the onboard power pins and made sure the power connector was fully seated.  I&#039;m glad I had turned the computer speaker volume all the way down before checking the results!</description>

		<description>thanks for this, it was exactly the solution for the problem i was having (low noise from Xonar D2X when connected via analogue.  

I actually got an uprated floppy connector and plugged it straight into the power supply for straight through power too.
